Watercolor Studio Setup and Painting - "Before the Sleigh Ride"

Here is my new area in my studio for watercolor painting. Plenty of paint to get started.  This painting is very personal. It is from a photograph I took in 1990 of my Dad and grandmother. My grand mother died a year later and my father in 2006. This outing was to take a winter sleigh ride with the whole family at Charmingfare Farm in New Hampshire a few days before Christmas. I captured this image before we went on the ride. 30 years later it is now a painting. This painting is in celebration of parents, grandparents and captures the most important thing in our lives. Family. "Before the Sleigh Ride" 16" x 24" Watercolor.
